'Queen Anthurium'

Anthurium warocqueanum

The name says it all, this really is the Queen of all Anthuriums. Native to Colombia, where it can be found growing epiphytically in the rainforests, the leaves on these beauties really have to be seen to be believed.

It is not uncommon for the foliage to reach a length of between 3 and 4 feet in the wild! We've been eyeing these up for such a long time... we're absolutely thrilled to have them in stock finally.

Why Hutch selects me

Whilst rare, Anthuriums like these are relatively easy to care for, making them a must have addition to the collection. As this Anthurium grows epiphytically, it is important to use a very free draining aroid mix to avoid rotten roots.

How to look after me

Watering: When the compost has dried to the touch -  approximately once a week; mist regularly

Light: Bright indirect

Why I'm unique

We work hard to provide a clear photograph and description of your chosen plant. However, all plants are unique and, whilst the pot size remains the same, there is always variation in size and shape from one plant to the next.
