'ZZ Plant'

Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Midori'

Native to Eastern Africa, this shade lover is excellent for those dark hallways where no other plant will thrive. The Midori is the newest ZZ cultivar, having only been released in November 2023... these are from the first batch of plants to be sold worldwide!

It's the same rough and tough ZZ plant, however the Midori has been developed to have much rounder foliage than the traditional ZZ.

19cm pot x 65cm height

Why Hutch selects me

Tough as old boots. Lock it in a cupboard and go on holiday for a month; your ZZ plant will probably be alive and looking just as healthy when you return.

How to look after me

Watering: When the soil has dried completely; approximately once every 2-4 weeks; be careful not to overwater as this is the quickest way to kill a ZZ plant

Light: Partial to full shade

Why I'm unique

We work hard to provide a clear photograph and description of your chosen plant. However, all plants are unique and, whilst the pot size remains the same, there is always variation in size and shape from one plant to the next.
