We are so excited to be welcoming back the incredibly talented Rachael Larsson-Carter into Hutch Houseplants to teach you the art of Macramé. Rachael is a designer maker based in East Devon specialising in Macramé; the art of knotting. On this workshop, which is perfect for beginners wanting to start on their Macramé journey, you will be taught a number of different knotting techniques and learn how to craft your own Macramé plant hanger to take home with you at the end of the workshop.

You will have a choice of different coloured yarns to work with, all of which are by-products of the fashion industry which would otherwise have ended up in landfill; this fits with Rachael's ethos of using sustainable textiles and working with environmentally conscious materials. We will also be offering an exclusive discount on the night to workshop attendees; so why not pick up a plant and pot to go with your new hanger... The workshop will be based in our Exeter shop and starts at 6pm, with a running time of around 2.5 hours.

All orders should be expected to arrive within 2-5 working days, however delivery times are not guaranteed. All orders outside of our local delivery area are shipped using the Royal Mail Tracked 48 service. Shipping takes place Monday - Friday and any orders placed over the weekend will be shipped on Monday or Tuesday.

Local Delivery

Residents living within 5 miles of our Exeter store, simply select Local Delivery at the checkout. Once your order is placed, you will be contacted to notify you of a delivery day.

Please note, there are a limited number of local slots available; specific time requests are not possible.

Delivery instructions are provided at your own risk and discretion. Hutch cannot accept liability for any parcels left in accordance with any specific instructions (e.g leave outside or with neighbour).

Click & Collect

Customers are able to collect their orders for free from our Exeter store. You will be sent a notification email once your order is ready to collect; please have this with you when you pop along to collect your order.
