'String of Dolphins'

Curio x peregrinus

Thought to be a hybrid of Curio rowleyanus (String of Pearls) and Curio articulatus (Candle Plant), this striking trailing succulent has vibrant green leaves that clearly resemble dolphins jumping through the waves.

They are actually part of the huge Asteracae family which includes other flowering plants like sunflowers and daisies.

Size

8.5cm pot

Why Hutch selects me

Like it's parent, the String of Pearls, this is another undisputed kings of instagram; these trailing succulents are a true icon. Not for the faint hearted, ensuring you have enough light is key before taking these on.

How to look after me

Watering: When the soil has dried thoroughly -  approximately once a week in the height of summer and once every 4-6 weeks in winter; do not mist

Light: Bright light with some direct sun is key

Why I'm unique

We work hard to provide a clear photograph and description of your chosen plant. However, all plants are unique and, whilst the pot size remains the same, there is always variation in size and shape from one plant to the next.
